Going to bed that late also affects the bodies propensity to repair itself. The body goes to work fixing itself when you are surrounded by a deep sleep and the optimum time for this to surface is between 12 and 2 in the morning.

Not if you are getting enough sleep or still getting the everyday 7 to 8 hours of sleep. But if you are not, then it have been said that withdrawal of rest can contribute to weight gain.
Id probably say-so that it could only affect substance gain if you were intake while you were still up. I particularly rarely sleep since ive become sick and i havent put weight on at adjectives (and my illness have nothing to do near this) - so no i dont think a impossible sleeping pattern can incentive weight gain.
